This PANCE cheat sheet compresses the NCCPA blueprint into a printable rundown of the clinical facts the boards test most, organized by the content areas that carry the most weight. It's a premium cheat sheet built by Capital Prep — the one premium prep we trust — and it's yours free. Pair it with the rest of your free PANCE toolkit: the practice test, study guide, and flashcards.

PANCE exam at a glance

  • Questions: 300 multiple-choice, in five 60-question blocks
  • Time: 5 hours testing (1 hour per block) plus 45 minutes of break time
  • Score scale: 200–800 scaled score; 350 is the fixed passing mark
  • Cost: NCCPA registration fee (recently $550) — confirm the current amount with the NCCPA

What’s on the PANCE cheat sheet

  • Cardiovascular & Pulmonary (11% + 9%) the two largest areas — key presentations, first-line drugs, and diagnostic cues you cannot afford to miss.
  • GI/Nutrition & Musculoskeletal (8% each) high-frequency abdominal, hepatobiliary, and orthopedic topics that round out the big four systems.
  • Mid-weight systems (5–7%) neurologic, psychiatry, infectious diseases, reproductive, endocrine, EENT, hematologic, and renal cheat cues.
  • Small systems & professional practice (4–6%) dermatologic, genitourinary, plus the professional-practice items that are quick, high-value points.

How to use it in your final week

  • Front-load the big four systems — cardiovascular (11%), pulmonary (9%), GI/nutrition (8%), and musculoskeletal (8%) make up over a third of the exam, so master these areas on the sheet first.
  • Run one section of the sheet against a short timed practice block (60 questions, one hour ≈ one minute each) to lock pacing for the five-block format.
  • Do a full read of the pharmacology and diagnostic cues the morning of the test — first-line drugs, classic labs, and hallmark findings are the fastest points to recover.
  • Don't neglect the small systems: derm, GU, renal, and hematology are only 4–5% each but add up to easy scaled-score points when you have reviewed them.

The cheat sheet is your review layer — your PANCE practice test drives the exam-readiness ring at the top of this page. Download it, review, then take a full practice exam (or drill with the study guide and flashcards) to see where you stand.
