How the team works
Career Employer publishes under a team byline rather than individual staff bylines, because every page is the product of the same pipeline, not one person's opinion. That pipeline has three roles:
- Research — building each page from the official exam outline, candidate handbook, and primary sources of the organization that administers the exam, with numbered citations on every factual claim.
- Review — fact-checking against those sources before publication. Where we hold credentials in a subject — currently personal training and fitness certifications — content is additionally reviewed by the credential holder and carries their named review credit. As we expand into more fields, credentialed subject-matter reviewers will be added the same way: real names, real credentials, on the page.
- Editing — final editorial sign-off on accuracy, clarity, and currency under our published editorial process.
Expertise across every field we cover
Career Employer's editorial team covers dozens of professions — nursing and allied health, financial and securities licensing, IT and cybersecurity, teaching, the skilled trades, and graduate and professional admissions. Across all of them we hold to one standard: every exam's materials are built from the primary sources of the organization that actually writes and administers that exam.
In practice that means the NCSBN test plan behind our NCLEX materials, FINRA's outlines behind the SIE and Series exams, ETS behind the Praxis, CompTIA behind its IT certifications, and the AICPA behind the CPA Exam — each mapped question-by-question to the official outline and cited on the page. Subject-matter expertise weighs in two ways: through those governing-body standards, and — wherever a team member holds the credential — through named review on the page. Today that named review covers the personal training and strength-and-conditioning certifications founder Tyler Read holds; as we add credentialed specialists in other fields, they'll appear the same way, with real names and real credentials.
Who's responsible
The team is led by founder and editor Tyler Read — a certified personal trainer and the face of PTPioneer — who has final responsibility for the editorial standards behind everything published on Career Employer.
