What’s on the Six Sigma Green Belt cheat sheet

  • Six Sigma & the Organization (11%) sigma level, DPMO, the 1.5σ shift, lean's 8 wastes, and DMAIC vs DMADV.
  • Define (20%) project charter, VOC and CTQ, SIPOC, the Kano model, and team stages — one of the two largest sections.
  • Measure (20%) data types, distributions, Gage R&R (MSA), and the Cp/Cpk capability formulas — the most quantitative section.
  • Analyze (18%) fishbone (6 Ms), 5 Whys, Pareto, hypothesis testing, Type I/II error, and FMEA with RPN.
  • Improve (16%) design of experiments basics and lean tools — 5S, kaizen, poka-yoke, and kanban.
  • Control (15%) statistical process control, control charts, common vs special cause, and control plans.

How to use it in your final week

  • Memorize the sigma-to-DPMO anchors cold — 3σ ≈ 66,807 DPMO, 4σ ≈ 6,210, and a Six Sigma process = 3.4 DPMO after the 1.5σ long-term shift.
  • Front-load Define and Measure — together they are 40% of the scored questions (about 20 each), and Measure is where the Cp/Cpk and yield math lives.
  • Drill the two capability formulas until they are automatic: Cp = (USL − LSL) ÷ 6σ, and Cpk = min[(USL − μ), (μ − LSL)] ÷ 3σ, remembering Cpk ≤ Cp always.
  • Pair each review pass with a short timed practice set so the 4-hour-18-minute clock feels routine, and tab your bound reference the way you will use it on the open-book exam.

The cheat sheet is your review layer — your Six Sigma Green Belt practice test drives the exam-readiness ring at the top of this page. Download it, review, then take a full practice exam (or drill with the study guide and flashcards) to see where you stand.
