What’s on the Six Sigma Black Belt cheat sheet

  • Enterprise Deployment & Measures (≈24 Qs) Six Sigma roles (Champion, MBB, Black Belt), project selection, and cost-of-quality categories.
  • Team Management (15 Qs) Tuckman's stages, RACI, conflict modes, and the diverge/converge decision tools.
  • Define (20 Qs) Voice of the customer, CTQ trees, the Kano model, SIPOC, and the project charter.
  • Measure (25 Qs — heaviest) Data types, Gauge R&R thresholds, and capability metrics (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk, DPMO, RTY).
  • Analyze (22 Qs) Root-cause tools, correlation vs. regression (R²), and the full hypothesis-test decision guide.
  • Improve (21 Qs) Design of experiments (full and fractional factorial), main effects and interactions, and lean tools.
  • Control (17 Qs) Control-chart selection, common- vs. special-cause variation, and control plans.
  • Design for Six Sigma (6 Qs) DMADV, QFD (house of quality), robust design, and TRIZ.

How to use it in your final week

  • Lock in the capability formulas first — Cp = (USL − LSL) ÷ (6σ) and Cpk = min[(USL − x̄) ÷ (3σ), (x̄ − LSL) ÷ (3σ)] — since Cp ≥ Cpk whenever the process is off-center.
  • Rehearse the hypothesis-test decision path from the sheet: one mean vs. a target = 1-sample t, two groups = 2-sample t, three-plus means = ANOVA, variances = F, counts = chi-square.
  • Drill the DMAIC weighting so you spend reps where the points are — Measure, Analyze, and Improve are the heaviest of the 150 scored questions.
  • Because the CSSBB is open-book, tab the sheet into your reference binder and practice looking up each formula under a timer so nothing costs you minutes on exam day.

The cheat sheet is your review layer — your Six Sigma Black Belt practice test drives the exam-readiness ring at the top of this page. Download it, review, then take a full practice exam (or drill with the study guide and flashcards) to see where you stand.
