- Front-load Assessment of Need and the Action Plan (29% each — about 58% of the exam combined). If you master two areas from the sheet, make them these.
- Drill the frameworks until they're automatic — HAAT (Human, Activity, Assistive Technology, Context) and SETT (Student, Environment, Tasks, Tools, with Tools chosen last).
- Re-read the process order the morning of the test: assess before you pick a device, and never order or fit equipment until funding is secured ("Implementation Once Funded").
- Pair each review pass with a short timed practice set — 180 questions in 4 hours is roughly 80 seconds per item, so rehearse that pace, not just the facts.
